Hybrid instruments compatible with SDI signals and IP signals
25Gb/s IP Option
Noise Meter Option
A ‘True-Hybrid’ waveform monitor compatible with
4K/HD/SD-SDI signals and UHDTV/HD/SD IP signals
The LV5600 is a ‘True-Hybrid’ waveform monitor compatible with 4K/HD/SD-SDI signals and UHDTV/HD/SD IP signals. The LV5600 features a 7-inch touch screen display in a compact 3RU enclosure with built-in AC power supply, and supports a variety of SDI signals up to 12G-SDI as well as video over IP. The waveform, vector, picture, audio, and eye pattern displays enable simple yet comprehensive measurements and quality control of the widest range of audio and video formats. The status display allows you to assess errors and system stability with both event logs and long-term charts.
For audio, these instruments support digitally embedded audio in SDI or IP streams as well as discreet digital and analog audio connections. Multi-channel audio levels, Lissajous, status, and loudness displays are available.
With its combination of touch screen, dedicated buttons and knobs, and user-defined screen layouts, the LV5600 allows complex measurement and monitoring tasks to be quickly completed. Designed with the future in mind, the LV5600 addresses your current and evolving video and audio testing needs.
KEY FEATURES
Supports ‘True-Hybrid’ SDI/IP Workflows
The LV5600 can monitor SDI signals up to 12G‐SDI as well as IP (video over IP). Audio support can include SDI embedded Audio, Audio multiplexed to IP, external input AES/EBU, and analog Audio. In addition, the LV5600 or LV7600 can be configured to simultaneously monitor SDI and IP feeds – ‘True Hybrid‘ monitoring for complex networks.
4x IP Multistream
Packet Jitter, Path Delay, Timing Comparison and Pack Buffer can all be viewed simultaneously.
3D-LUT function
By loading a 3D-LUT cube file, the 3D-LUT can be converted in real time to support various measurements and conversion outputs.(SER23 option is required.)
HDR Monitoring
In addition to HLG and PQ provided by ITU-R BT.2100, the level monitoring of the HDR signal corresponding to S-log3 and the level management at the assumed luminance (Nits) in a display considering OOTF are possible.
The video signal waveform displays HDR scale along with the IRE scale. In the Cinezone display, the luminance distribution of the HDR area can be easily confirmed by displaying the SDR area in monochrome, and the HDR with a color according to the brightness.
Video Noise Meter
This function measures the noise in the luminance and RGB signals of SDI and IP signals input to the LV5600, ideal for camera noise measurement.
Dolby-E
Decoding display of Dolby E, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus becomes possible by adding the LV5600-SER 04 to LV5600-SER 03 option.
Focus Assist
This is a focus detection function realizing a new algorithm based on nonlinear super resolution technology. The focus details can be detected with high sensitivity even with low-contrast images, which were conventionally difficult to detect. In addition, sensitivity can be selected from 5 levels according to the video scene.
Supports Full Range SDR
Supports waveform display, vectorscope, CIE chart, histogram, CineLite, CineZone, and full range of DPX and TIFF file capture.
